We see ... a vibrant worshipping community in the West Shore that will grow, within ten years, to have 400 attendees. We envision starting a new congregation in Metchosin in the Spring of 2010. We will exist for the sake of others. We will be people who will share our lives and our faith with others.
We see a place where people will offer their best to God; people who will be flexible and varied in their methods for the sake of reaching others; people whose hearts are filled with grace toward others and whose minds are attuned to the will of Christ who is the way, the truth and the life.
We see a church that will celebrate God with contemporary worship music, connect with each other in home groups, cultivate people who want to grow as Christ-followers, create opportunities that foster service and meet real needs.

The Bible gives us a vision of how church is supposed to be:
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:42-47)
